yesterday's skype debate with Dea (hey sweet cheeks :)) over the importance of making good grades opened up some good questions.
The debate was sparked by my listless-for-the-sake-of-listless comment that I wasn't motivated by marks, and that the real value of education is found in itself, not the symbol you earn for the calibre of your work that, if high, is the chip you exchange for your desired outcome.
